Comedy sketches
As a kid, I didn’t play with dolls1 . I played with random objects or I’d become them. I’d speak in different voices, move in different shapes, and have ridiculous ideas that were different than good-girl me2. This made me laugh. Apparently, what I did was called ‘creating characters’. And what those characters do when they come in contact with other ppl (alive or imaginary) is called SKETCHES.
I’m a triple Groundlings Theater diversity scholarship recipient and have been a member of sketch and character teams in LA for years.
I love to write grounded sketches that quickly go off the rails. These are some of my favorite characters – the rest escaped the page and are currently running the government.

- brrr, what adults don’t get about ‘imaginary friends’ is that we, kids, KNOW they are not real ppl. They are ‘imaginary toys’ – which sounds sad but is happy ↩︎
