In 2021 I challenged myself to a selfie-a-day experiment. For a month I forced myself to come up with interesting photos that made me feel more creative – no repetitive poses, no yawn angles, no run-of-the-mill props.
I discovered that the trick to imaginative photography is… sticking to it. That Einstein dude was correct, ‘It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s just that I stay with problems longer‘. Pushing past first 10 minutes of dull tinkering, not giving up trying seemingly stupid ideas, finding play, and – throwing away a lot of takes. Like 98% of the photos are garbage. This page is the 10% of the 2%.That’s 0.2!
From then friends started asking me to take their photos. Have a slice of my style:
I shoot a limited amount of sessions per year, schedule yours here.
